Our line of Chinese paper umbrellas is made of thin brown paper with a slight water-resistant coating. These umbrellas are available in several design patterns, three most popular shown below, and four sizes.
These paper umbrellas are made of printed and semi-printed brown Chinese paper with a bamboo frame and wooden handle. Skillfully handmade by our village artisans in northern Thailand, using traditional hand crafting techniques handed down over many generations.Wholesale Chinese Paper Umbrellas

Sizes: Paper Umbrellas made with "Chinese Paper"
Water resistant, brown paper umbrellas, also known as Chinese Paper Umbrellas are available in four sizes: extra small PARASA-200-60, small PARASA-200-70, medium PARASA-200-85 and large PARASA-200-100. We also make custom sizes. Size is measured as the fully open canopy diameter in centimeters. The model number's last two digits represent the size.

Umbrella Construction and Materials
Materials: |
Bamboo frame with wood-string mechanism, wooden handle. Canopy made with thin, brown paper with a light coating. "Chinese paper" umbrellas are slightly water resistant, but not waterproofed. |

Standard in brown. Alternatively in "rice seed white" (not shown, please contact us). |
Designs: |
Three types of "semi-printed" patterns, as shown. Also available in plain printed version (black design pattern without colors). Please note that for these umbrellas the industry term "printed" refers to one color silk screening (usually in black); the term "semi-printed" goes one step further and refers to silk screening plus hand painting using various colors on top of the silk-screened pattern. |
